Rosa trails is actually a series or a collection of trails in the mountain area between Tagaytay and Sta. Rosa. I think that Silang, Cavite is one of those towns in those areas. I've been to the more popular Short and Long Mango trails, Epiphany trail, Coffee trail and the popular Upak or Jackhammer trail going back to Sta. Rosa. There is a trail that goes to the Palace in the Sky which decends to the Canlubang area then bike back to Sta Rosa thru the national road. The Sabak bikeshop boys pioneered trail riding there. You can contact them if you like to ride that area.

Too bad that Sta Rosa is a little far. Heard that there are dozens of small trails within the complex.

"Apat na Palapag" is what they call "Cardiac Hill" too...now it's called "Cardiac Expressway Hill" na...hahaha ...now we call it the "Pulvoron Hill"...dust is ankle-deep...come rainy season that "cardiac expressway-pulvoron trail" will surely be a struggle to bike on..or even to hike on...cause of mud. in 2005 we can still see rare birds passing in front of us while struggling to catch our breathe in the uphill climbs. Now we're struggling not to breathe while going up due to the thick cloud of dust Hey, while I'm writing this post came a heavy downpour outside, here in starosa. Got to cancel this saturday's ride at pulvoron hill then. Might have to climb Palace in the Sky instead thru cangolf-casile road ;D

ive been sta. rosa for about 10 times pero d ko alam ung apat na palapag na yan!! lahat ng trail nadaanan ko na!! specially upak trail is best!! try it bikers!! nakakasira ng ulo! I guess it 'used" to be APAT ng palapag - now its down to just ONE long uphill b*tch of a climb! Been here 3 times na. But still unable to make this 4th uphill. Sometimes it was due to the powdery dust, others due to the sticky mud - but in reality - My legs just cant pedal enuf!!! Here are some pix taken last July 2007. This is the top of the 4 na palapag. Where the cell site is now located. The houses that used to on the same level of the road are now about 7-10 meters high. Next is the view from half-way up the hill. Seacid in foreground. Who waited for me, while I hiked up. Here, if you look towards the upper left-hand corner of the pix, just below the coconut fronds. You will notice the 2 other uphills that have been bypassed. Personally, I dont think this will be cemented. I believe it will become a long par 3 hole of South Forbes golf club. The tee-box just off to the right where the group of bikers are waiting.

Thanks for posting pics of new "apat na palapag". The bypassed hill, is that one of those palapags before?
