La Mesa Dam Eco & Nature Park trails. With present entrance at the gravel road after closing the Lagro gate. Long double tracks leading to many watch towers. This is a very cozy forest like trail system. More info: sites.k2ia.com/bk/LaMesaWatershed.php

The entrance along the quirino hiway ( near lagro) is currently close, don't know until when will that be closed, the new entrance is near the payatas area, as per information by King of All Terra, FYI

Boss Herran's small group, who are Maarat tambays like us but not members of internet groups took us for a tower 1 ride at La Mesa 2 weeks ago. The new entrance is along the Manila-Montalban Gravel Pit Road which is the road after turning right at Litex from Commonwealth Ave. It passes the Payatas area. That road leads to the road going to Kambals and Licao-Licao. They charged a high 200 peso entrance fee.
I did'nt know about Ed's legs before that day. Maarat (Roxas Trail) - Wawa Dam and back is too harsh. This trail at La Mesa is more ideal even with the fee.
