What was the hardest climb that you have encountered?
The Wall? Licao-Licao Wall? Nabutas Licao-Licao? Helipad Licao-Licao? Puray Mountain Route? Teresa-Antipolo Route? Etc. Etc. Etc.
For me, all of those climbs are really hard but the Helipad requires long term pushing.

yup - the wall it was my very first trail ride - back in may 2006 and here's the estimated breakdown of my ride: 3% riding 97% bike pushing helipad is also very challenging and i want to hit it again soon and i think - this is what happened last nov2006 70% riding 30% bike pushing

take it "slow and easy" is the favorite word I learned from my adventure race teammate. He's 54 years old Brits and I couldn't beat him on running...He always reminds me of that word... You can apply it also on biking...focus on relaxing your muscle rather than how long you need to climb more...

i am dreaming of a slight improvement on my climbing strength ;D
from this: 70% riding 30% bike pushing
to this: 75% riding 25% bike pushing

Helipad Licao-Licao? - Not yet, just the start up ride from terminal (a few kilometers) then went down to take a dip in the stream below.Puray Mountain Route? - I guess, some of this. We took the river corssings to get to Puray.Teresa-Antipolo Route? - not yet.Etc. Etc. Etc. - Where is this located? I guess all of them have their own unique challenge. Its hard to say which is the hardest coz it sometimes depends on my condition the night before and during the ride. First time I hit the wall, I was so concerned coz I have seen it on our way to Ka Tobias for the Giant rider. What added to my concern was that I had a party the night before and had a few bottles to drink. So when we hit the wall, my throat was so dry and irritated. But throught he constant pursuation of Gary we were able to climb it. BlackJams - tell me when you plan to hit the Licao-Licao-helipad trail. Would also like to try this out. Also, found a good and challenging incline in Angono. Lets hit this one soon before you transfer. Ride E.C.

Hingal kabayo nga everytime I climb it. Maybe Gary finds it easy. He leaves me behind whenever we go up on a treck... Hope we can ride to Angono soon. It only takes 2 hrs to 2.5 hrs back and forth kung nag mamadali. Even when we went exploring with Edong and Ace, we were back home before lunch. Give me a ring if you want to. I can accompany you even weekdays. Ride EC.
