XT for me since I normally use XT/XTR chains for compatibility issue... It's not that PG990 is not compatible with Shimano's but it's like keeping the same color in group...

I like PG990 because of the color... add more bling bling specially when your using a Red Hubs (CKing) and the Hope Red QR....
