anyone here has heard or used IRD racing's dual banger db's? the clamping of the caliper to the rotor is bothways, similar to a hydro. but it's a mech. i want it badly, thing is i don't even know if someone in the phils is carrying it. You can check out IRD's website. they have a local distributor here apparently located in Mandaluyong. I tried calling their number but to no avail..

Try to learn how to bleed your Hydro Brakes... once you already know how to do it... You'll find out the hydro brakes is better than mecha...

if you ride fast and like technical trails, better get the hydros but if not, mech's or even Vee's are good enough

I don't know how much they cost now but they are improved versions of what I have. Give Newton a call. Also, I think the Tektro Hydros that comes with the built in with the Anthem's in Extreme might be cheap. I accompanied a badminton friend in Extreme yesterday and they were selling an Anthem whole bike with Hydros and wheelsets for 55k only Call Extreme.

The hayes sole or Hayes nine is already enough for your application...

If ever you choose other lower end hydro brakes, better yet consider the Avid BB7 and save yourself some headaches ;D
