You only need to specify what RD you have. SRAM or Shimano, since the holes for the jockey wheels dimension is different... Other than that, everything is the same...
So you only need 3mm allen wrench to disassembly and assembly your RD replace the jockey wheels...

When I was starting out, I was told by a local bike shop that SRAM is considerably more expensive than Shimano and since Shimano makes decent brakes and drivetrains, I went 100% Shimano. Never tried SRAM products, hence I could not tell the difference.

The upper wheels in the RD is the "Jockey wheels" which set the chain to the cogs. The lower wheels called " Chain Wheels", which give tension to the chains... You only need to replace the "Jockey wheels" to get the crisp shifting... no need to change the chain wheels. but of course if riders preference to add more bling bling to his bike. Can change the chain wheels... but of course, the cost will be doubled... CNC is very expensive, one jockey wheel cost PHP500.00... XT and XTR also sealed bearing but it's too small and still not fixed...So when you shift... the response is only noise but not transfering the chain to the next cogs.... hmm.. sayang di pa pwede for XTR. Let me know if your jockey wheels are already adaptable to XTR RD.

It is also compatible with Acera since the screw hole is almost the same... Try it and you'll love it... ;D
