The Ride to the Trailhead would start somewhere inside the Clark Area. The Trailhead starts at the Target area and will be a ride thru the Lahar Trails with the trailend at Gate 14. Contact Mr. Michael Gatmaitan of Team VGB - Dau. Don't forget to request him to bring you to the Lomi House for lunch and of course after the trailride a taste of Pampanga's original sisig served at Aling Luding's washed by ice cold san miguel beer will surely complete the day's lahar trailriding. the lahar trail is very challenging.... frankly it destroys my pacing... unpredictable terrain... but worth the effort... nice scenery and great hosts indeed.

tanong lang po, i wonder kung may mga na damage na na frames belonging to the local group doon. think lahat has a very high alkali content, which in turn eats up the aluminum and breaks it down. dito kasi sa reno, maraming mining trails with high alkali soil content, and they've always advised us to rinse out the bikes after a ride para di ma accumulate yung destructive alkali deposits.

we didn't ask the locals about the damages brought about by the lahar. but we believe that they wash their bikes ASAP after the trail ride kasi they warned us of the high alkali character of the lahars that may damage our bikes. hope to ride with you sir when you drop by for a visit to PI
