A rarely used trail in Maarat is the Red Clay Trail. At the Roxas trail junction after the 2km climb, the route to your left is the entrance to Roxas trail, the single track climb to your right is the route to the Red Clay Trail. Follow the single track climb for around 700 meters until you reach a fork, then turn left on the single track decent. After a few hundred yards, you will reach the Red Clay helipad with loose red soil. One can backtrack or continue to single track decent to cross a stream and then climb back up the opposite side to exit near the Araneta gate. Trail time will be around 1 hour.

You can be correct goldxc. But I do know that the Yes or No trail is the one near Ka Vergel. From the road going to AFP, turn right after the chapel, then straight instead of right until you reach the tabletop (helipad). The single track going down is the Yes or No trail. Of course I can be incorrect.

The Extreme boys of Extreme Bike Shop took me to the Yes Or No trail from Ka Vergel and the Yes Or No and the Red Clay trail indeed have the same exit near the Araneta gate.

Yeah, the guards at the Araneta Gate and at the guard post at Ka Vergel does not allow any riders to pass thru anymore recently. I did'nt know that some Motocrossers ran over some Geese. Nadamay pa tuloy ang mga mt bikers. When fronting the Araneta Gate, do you see the single track to the right side near the billboard? That is the exit of the Red Clay Trail and the Yes or No trail. You can still pass thru that trail anytime as it is not within the Araneta compound (at least the entrance/exit). If you want to burn some time in Maarat, try this trail from the Roxas junction. The only thing I don't like about this trail is the uphill push.
